So, I know I haven’t posted for the last couple of weeks, but I was sick and then the site was acting crazy. I should have the videos up pretty soon after the show for the rest of the season now. David Archuleta sings Another Day In Paradise on American Idol tonight. Not his best performance, but it was still pretty darn good. Of course he’s still a cutie and his voice is wonderful. I just think this wasn’t a good song choice for him. Anyway, here’s the video, see for yourself!

Also, check out the other cutie from the show tonight, Jason Castro. He’s singing Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. Although he’s no David, he’s still got a great voice and is very nice on the eyes! Love the dreads!

In the first season of American Idol David sang for a group of Idol finalists, including Kelly Clarkson. Watch her jaw hit the floor as David’s vocals soar. He is singing “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from Dreamgirls, now made famous by another Idol (wink, wink). He was 12 years old at the time and has only gotten better with age!

David Archuleta cried during Alexandréa’s final performance last night after she was voted off. After she was finished singing she ran over to hug him. These two have been really good friends since competing against each other on Star Search when they were both much younger. It was really sweet and I’m sure that she will be working as either an opening act or backup singer for David after he wins AI. That will give her plenty of time to come into her own as an artist.

I tried to find a picture or video of “the hug” but I couldn’t seem to find one anywhere. If I do, I will add it in later.
